Thermalert 4.0 Series Pyrometers
Smart infrared sensors to take temperature data and process control to the next level
The Thermalert 4.0 Series Pyrometers from Fluke Process Instruments include numerous integrated infrared temperature sensors with our widest selection of spectral ranges that can be used for a wide variety of process control applications.
Each pyrometer conforms to Industry 4.0 standards, combines innovative digital technology with standard two-wire installations for all setups and can be ordered with ATEX and IECEx certification. With multiple communication options, this smart infrared measurement sensor provides the features you need to understand your temperature data and control your unique process in a compact, integrated package that is easy to install and operate.
With the ability to withstand ambient temperatures up to 85°C (185°F) without extra cooling, as well as multiple wavelength options to support a broad range of applications, Thermalert 4.0 Series Pyrometers can provide a complete picture of even the harshest environments.
Each pyrometer is designed with best-in-class optical resolution, which varies based on the application, and multiple communication options to meet your process requirements – including 2-wire loops powered by RS485, digital outputs (Ethernet, EthernetIP, ProfinetIO) and analog outputs.
Laser sighting, ATEX/IECEx certification and a broad range of accessories (including high temperature enclosures) are also available for all models.
Thermalert 4.0 infrared sensors can be integrated with your process control system with the DataTemp® Multidrop Software. Each software solution provides you with the tools you need to “plug and play,” by quickly configuring your sensors and then monitoring temperatures with a real-time graphical display.
The software’s bar graph feature shows temperature profiles at various spots across your process. The program can also record and archive process temperatures, as well as show high- and low-alarms, making it easy to identify when conditions are beyond your set parameters.
